10th LA Indie Film Festival & Screenplay Competition, a bi-annual event that invites filmmakers to the entertainment capital of the world by way of film, script, music video, or TV pilot. Over ten days all screenings and events unfold at LA Indie's Let Live Theater which regularly plays host to some of the most innovative cinematic, theatrical, and musical performances in the city.
LA Indie is also proud to welcome screenplays where one winning screenplay will receive a $1,000 USD cash award and two all-access festival passes. Multiple award opportunities are available in film categories including: Audience Choice Award, Best Actor, Best Music Video, and Best Animation. All taking place in the entertainment industry's backyard - it's a lively event for networking and the opportunities for recognition are bountiful.

LA Indie provides a showcase for the best shorts, features, television pilots, web series, music videos, and animation in independent cinema.
MORE ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The dual emphasis of LA Indie is to discover and promote great talents while also showcasing the works of well-known professionals and Hollywood stars. In previous years, the festival has boasted a "Casting Your Film" panel, an interracial 1890s Western, a retrospective of big-screen sex symbol Bettie Page, a feature-length reinterpretation of Macbeth, and a host of inspiring stories from around the globe. LA Indie is the partner festival to the well-established LA Comedy Film Festival.
