DIFF Film Fellows

The Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF) 
announces the second edition of the DIFF Film Fellows programme.

The DIFF Film Fellows initiative hopes to encourage and develop filmmaking talent 
in the Himalayan regions of India by providing an opportunity to young, up-and-coming 
filmmakers from the area to attend DIFF 2015 and participate in its various events, 
which include screenings of the best of contemporary independent cinema, and master
classes and workshops held by visiting filmmakers and industry professionals. Selected
participants will also have the opportunity to engage in special one-on-one mentorship
sessions with visiting filmmakers.
Each applicant must send in a completed entry form and a link to a short film that she
or he has directed. Based on this, five young filmmakers will be selected as part 
of DIFF Film Fellows 2015. The programme will cover all their travel arrangements 
(2AC train), and food and lodging for the duration of the festival. Applicants should 
be available to to come to Dharamshala for up to one week for the fellowship.

Rules and Regulations

1. Applicants must be 30 or younger.
Successful applicants will be notified by 1 October 2015.

2. Applicants must be from one of the following Himalayan regions: 
Jammu & Kashmir
Himachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh
Tripura Hill regions of West Bengal and Assam
3. Applicants must send a completed entry form and a link to a short film directed
by them.
4. Films submitted must be shorter than 20 minutes in duration. They can be an excerpt
from a longer film (do not send the full film).
5. Films can be in any genre: fiction, documentary, experimental, or animation.

A platform for professional and exhibition 
for the Mexican animation worldwide.
The Festival of Animation, Comics and Games will be held for the second year in Cuernavaca, Morelos from 9 to 13 September. The activities are structured in four areas: displays, Forum, Links and Ideatoon Summit

With the support of INADEM (National Institute of Entrepreneurship), the secretariats of Innovation, Science and Technology, Tourism, Economy; and Culture of the State of Morelos, and the city of Cuernavaca, Pixelatl held for the second year the Festival of Animation, Comics and Games, which take place from 9 to 13 September in various locations of the "City of Eternal Spring".

At a press conference, José Iñesta, director of the festival, said that "there has been a continuous effort of four years, which has now become a platform, on the one hand, the professionalization of Mexican talent and, secondly, display of what is already being done, to show to executives of various companies internationally and create links within the sector. "
