          SOLD, the feature film on child trafficking in India,
          is going from festival to festival.

          Sold, directed by Jeffrey Dean Brown, was the opening film at the
          recently held Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. Now comes the
          news that the film will also open the London Indian Film Festival,
          which runs July 10 to 17, 2014.

          Uma da Cunha, founder-advisor in India for IFFLA, spoke to Jeffrey 
          Brown, in Los Angeles on the making of the film and the many plans 
          and goals he has with regard to his film.

8th Annual Toronto Urban
Film Festival (TUFF)
International Call for Submissions!

The 8th annual Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF) returns to subway platform screens across Toronto from September 5 - 15, 2014.
Submit for free until June 15th. Final deadline is July 15, 2014.
The TUFF call for submissions is open to Canadian and international filmmakers and accepts all genres of silent, one-minute film, video, and animation of interest to an urban audience.
Selected films are eligible for cash prizes and awards. Selections are made by the programming team and top prizes are awarded by a special guest judge. Past guest judges include: Bruce McDonald, Jennifer Baichwal, Atom Egoyan, and Deepa Mehta.

TUFF screens at 10-minute intervals on over 290 platform screens in 63 stations across the Toronto subway system, and non-stop at designated "Film Zones" located at key Toronto downtown stations.
The TUFF audience are 1 million daily commuters. TUFF runs concurrent with the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The TUFF Local Stories programme screens at 5-minute intervals on 300 screens in 40 malls across Canada for 1 week from September 8 - 14, 2014.
TUFF Local Stories audience are over 5 million mall visitors a week across the country.
