The high profile theatre professionals Nandita Das, Mahesh Dattani and Subodh Maskara will be among a panel that will critically evaluate the final performance by a group of select actors chosen to participate in an 8-Day actor-training program.

Prof. Dalip Sondhi (lead acting tutor and director SDDS) and Ms Geraldine Cook (Senior Lecturer in Voice and Associate Dean University of Melbourne, VCA) will mentor the actors towards this final performance of a Mahesh Dattani play.

Following the launch of their first Actor Training course with Naseeruddin Shah in Mumbai last June, SDDS Education continue to collaborate with high profile Indian industry professionals in the training of actors. These courses are primarily designed to identify, nurture and develop the incredible wealth of talent in India and construct international, as well as national, opportunities for the graduates. Those who display the aptitude will be selected and cast in upcoming productions.

The course takes place in Mumbai April 28  to May 5, 2014.
